The role requires current state nursing licensure, 1 year of OR/medical-surgical nursing experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable. Perioperative certification is preferred, with a commitment to patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS.
• PALS certification within 90 days of employment if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative Nursing Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
