Job summary

SCA Health in Florida is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. You will promote our mission and values while assessing patient status and developing perioperative care plans.

We seek 1 year of OR or medical/surgical nursing experience, a current RN license, and certification readiness (BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable). Join a patient-centered team delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment.
• PALS course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
