Job summary

SCA Health in Florida is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. You will participate in the perioperative care team, assess patient status, and develop individualized care plans for each surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• PALS required when pediatric care is included in scope within 90 days or current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
