This role requires an accredited nursing degree, current state licensure, and BLS/ACLS (PALS if pediatric care is included); OR/medical-surgical experience is preferred. The schedule offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or current certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
