Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice with compact licenses transferred within 60 days.
• BSN from an accredited institution; BSN required.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Timeframe: BSN within four years for RNs with <12 months exp.
• BSN requirement updated as of 4/27/2025.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather info from the care team.
• Plan and educate with patients and families to develop care plans.
• Implement care, delegate tasks, and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluate patient response and revise care plans as needed.
• Promote professionalism, comply with standards, and ensure accurate documentation.
