Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical setting. You will collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe and efficient procedures.

The role requires 4 x 10-hour shifts (Mon-Fri), on-call with weeknight and weekend coverage, and a strong emphasis on assessment, planning, and coordination of care. A BSN and active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice; compact license transfers within 60 days.
• New RNs (<12 months) must obtain a BSN within 4 years.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• BSN required; education from an accredited institution.
• BSN is current per last update (4/27/2025); prior hires held to previous req.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather information.
• Develop an individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and delegate tasks to team members.
• Deliver care per plan, prioritize, manage time, supplies, resources.
• Evaluate outcomes and update the plan of care as needed.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to legal/ethical standards.
