Job summary

Intermountain Health LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced perioperative setting, partnering with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient procedures.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours; after orientation, call rotation covers nights and weekends; PEAK tuition support and a comprehensive benefits package support caregiver wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start.
• BSN degree required; degree from an accredited institution; verification will be performed.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the last update.
• Employees hired before the update will be evaluated under prior requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, social, and psychological status and develop a care plan.
• Plan and coordinate individualized care with patient, family, and team.
• Implement care and delegate tasks to the interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluate outcomes and revise plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards.
