Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN within four years for RNs with less than 12 months experience.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• BSN is required as of the last update (4/27/2025).

Responsibilities

• Assess: perform comprehensive assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from patient, family, and team.
• Plan: develop an individualized care plan with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: coordinate the care team to deliver care per plan while managing time and resources.
• Evaluate: monitor progress, adjust plan as needed, and reassess outcomes.
• Professionalism: uphold licensure standards, documentation accuracy, and ethical/legal practice.
