Colonial Group is seeking an experienced registered nurse to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality nursing services and patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, an active RN license, and current BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics
• Core (FT/PT): Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in OR (other procedural areas consider with approval)
• Licensed RN with no experience in OR and enrolled in PeriOp101 program with successful completion within 4 months.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning with patient/family input.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care and supervision of the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise the plan of care as needed in collaboration with the health care team.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Contribute to quality improvement and education within the department.
