Colonial Group is seeking a registered nurse for perioperative/OR care in our Phoenix, AZ facility. The role requires assessing patients, planning and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality outcomes according to standards.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or diploma in nursing, has a current RN license, and is certified in BLS and ACLS, with PALS to be completed within 90 days if pediatrics are involved.

Qualificações

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice is required.
• BLS and ACLS are required.
• PALS certification within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Core (FT/PT): Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in OR.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care with input from patient, family, and health team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care, adhering to physician orders and policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and effectiveness of teaching; revise plan as needed.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes in the patient record clearly and timely.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and staff education; mentor facility personnel.
• Promote high-quality outcomes and exceptional service to patients and families.
• Provide relief charge for staff/workflow as needed.
