Job summary

Regent Surgical Health is seeking an OR RN to provide high-quality intraoperative patient care and ensure safety in the operating room. Responsibilities include preparing patients, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team to keep procedures on track.

The role requires RN licensure in the appropriate state and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) per ASC policy; preferred candidates may hold higher nursing degrees and have strong teamwork skills."

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in appropriate state.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification as required by ASC policy.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Transport patients to and from operating/procedure room.
• Prepare patients for surgery by disinfecting skin and positioning.
• Verify medications, patient identity, procedure, and site.
• Assist surgeon during procedures and ensure OR runs smoothly.
• Maintain aseptic technique and document nursing care.
