Job summary
Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Clinical Educator RN to lead educational initiatives for perioperative staff.

Qualifications
- CNOR required within 12 months of hire
- Bachelor's degree required
- California RN license current
- Staff Development certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years perioperative nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year educator experience in acute care preferred
- EMR implementation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support education department goals aligned with MLKCH mission and strategic plan.
- Inform Director and Sr. Dir. of Education about programs and proposals.
- Participate in Surgical Quality Committee and support performance improvement data.
- Lead annual educational needs assessment and program planning.
- Plan and implement unit-specific orientation for new staff.
- Develop/update unit policies, procedures, and competencies.
