Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN or higher required; CNOR is required within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum two years perioperative nursing in OR; at least one year as an educator in an acute care setting.
• Current California nursing license; certification in Staff Development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Education Department goals aligned with the mission and strategic plan.
• Plan and conduct unit-specific orientation for perioperative staff.
• Develop, review, and revise procedures, policies, and unit competencies.
• Lead and evaluate education programs; collaborate with Nursing leadership to improve quality.
