Job summary

Qualifications

• CNOR certification must be completed within 12 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current California RN license and CPI within 90 days are expected; Staff Development certification preferred.
• Experience with EMR implementation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Education Department goals aligned with MLKCH strategy.
• Maintain communication with Education leadership on program status and proposals.
• Participate in Surgical Quality Committee and support performance improvement data.
• Plan unit-based staff orientation and develop/update unit competencies.
• Collaborate on unit-wide and hospital-wide educational presentations and orientation.
