Job summary

SCA Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. You will promote the mission, assess patients through the perioperative period and develop individualized care plans. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to quality and patient-centered care.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure; OR or surgical experience preferred. BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as required by facility scope may be needed within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification completed within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification completed within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included in facility scope within 90 days.
• Specialty perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
