Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care across a national network. The role emphasizes patient-centered planning and teamwork within a multidisciplinary perioperative team.

The ideal candidate will have an OR background, active RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• PALS required when pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
