Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks a registered nurse to deliver age- and culturally appropriate patient care within our professional practice model. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborate with the health team, and educate patients and families.

Ohio RN licensure is required, with BLS and ACLS as specified, and BSN within five years of hire for development. AD and Diploma nurses may be hired, with MSN/DNP optional.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS within six months for step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN within five years of hire; AD and Diploma nurses may be hired.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessments of physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Develop and communicate the plan of care using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education tailored to needs.
• Collaborate with the health team and respond to emergencies with poise.
• Maintain timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
