Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio is required.
• BSN must be obtained within 5 years of hire for nurses hired after January 2010; MSN/DNP not required but can supersede BSN.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas; BLS required prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients holistically and plan individualized care.
• Communicate plans of care using SBAR during handoffs with the health team.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care and maintain a safe environment.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and engage in ongoing professional development.
