Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive inpatient care. The RN will perform holistic assessments, develop and implement care plans, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safe, evidence-based nursing practice within the hospital's care model.

Candidates must hold an Ohio RN license, have BLS, ACLS within 6 months for certain units, and BSN within five years of hire; ADN/Diploma acceptable.

Qualifications

• Ohio RN license required.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for step-down/ICU areas.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire; ADN/Diploma accepted.
• MSN or DNP not required but may supersede BSN requirement.

Responsibilities

• Holistic patient assessment using The Christ Hospital model.
• Communicate plan of care via SBAR and handoffs.
• Set care priorities and participate in shift reports.
• Initiate discharge planning and referrals.
• Provide ongoing patient and family education.
• Respond to emergencies with controlled precision.
• Maintain safety and infection control measures.
