Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Ohio is recruiting a registered nurse to provide holistic and compassionate patient care across the care team. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using The Christ Hospital Professional Practice Model, ensuring safety and quality at every step.

Applicants must hold an Ohio RN license with a BSN within five years of hire; BLS is required before patient contact and ACLS within six months for step-down/ICU areas.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio.
• BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for step-down/ICU areas.
• Certification in area of clinical specialty within five years.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic patient assessments and plan care using the Nursing Process.
• Communicate plan of care with SBAR and handoff to the care team.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Demonstrate leadership, participate in staff development and performance improvement.
