Job summary

UCI Health in Orange County is seeking a Registered Nurse to organize, plan, and coordinate high-quality patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations in the surgical services setting.

Under supervision, the RN will support a multi-disciplinary team, maintain clinical excellence, meet performance standards, and contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment. California RN license, BLS/ACLS required, and perioperative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• AHA ACLS certification is required.
• Six months experience as a perioperative nurse is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, direct, and coordinate high-quality patient care.
• Provide physical, psychological, and spiritual support to patients across age groups.
• Collaborate effectively with the Health System across departments and teams.
