Job summary

Astrana Health Management is hiring a Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator for our Surgery & Recovery unit in Tustin, CA. You will deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative care across the surgical experience and work as part of a high-performing team.

The role requires CA RN licensure, BSN (preferred), BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year OR experience or perioperative training. On-site schedule with competitive hourly compensation and on-call demand.

Qualifications

• Active, current, and unrestricted RN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• At least 1 year OR knowledge or perioperative training completion.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including on-call shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and stay composed in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Function as a scrub nurse and/or circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure safe care.
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes throughout the perioperative continuum.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative surgical environment.
