Job summary

UC Irvine Health is seeking an Operating Room Nurse to deliver patient care during operative procedures, acting as scrub or circulating nurse as needed. You will float between UCI Health locations and work with a multidisciplinary team to maintain asepsis and patient safety.

The role requires a BSN, a minimum of six months perioperative nursing experience, and flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. CNOR is preferred. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months recent nursing experience in an acute‑care perioperative environment.
• All external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Ability to scrub and circulate in most surgical specialties and maintain aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after operative procedures.
• Float between UCI Health locations as needed and collaborate with the surgical team.
• Model professional behavior and support nursing students and new staff on the unit.
