Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Health System seeks a Clinical Pharmacist Coordinator in Peri-OP to lead our technician staff and ensure patient safety in medication dispensing. This role covers Adult Medicine, Emergency, and Surgery Pharmacy services across the Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore.

Candidates should have completed, or be pursuing, an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience, with strong collaboration across care teams and a commitment to education for students and staff.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• ASHP accredited residency or equivalent experience desired.
• Experience supervising pharmacy personnel in a health-system.
• Maryland pharmacist licensure required; hospital education within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Medication management and dispensing process oversight.
• Lead technician staff and address operational needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe medication use.
• Provide education to students, residents, pharmacists, and other staff.
• Support emergency code response and care coordination as needed.
