Trinity Health's MercyOne Genesis in Davenport, IA is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in intraoperative scrub and circulating roles. The role spans neonate to geriatric patients within a nationally recognized health system.

The position offers day shift from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, with .9 FTE (36 hours/week) and on-call rotation. Candidates must have an Iowa RN license and associate degree; BSN is preferred.

Formación

• RN licensure in Iowa is required at hire.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required by the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently with minimal direction.
• Prepares for surgical cases, anticipating needs of patient, surgeon, anesthesia and team.
• Maintains sterile technique and a safe environment for patient and staff.
• Communicates effectively with patient, staff, physicians and families.
• Assists in orientation and training of new personnel.
• Handles surgical documentation and participates in Performance Improvement.
