Job summary

MercyOne Genesis, a Trinity Health system facility in Davenport, IA, seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver perioperative patient care in scrub and circulating roles. The patient population spans neonate to geriatric, with on-call coverage as scheduled.

This full-time exempt position includes a rotating shift and a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000, with a commitment/retention period and structured payout schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license at time of hire; Illinois license optional with 12-month transfer.
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience.
• AHA BLS required.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases with minimal direction.
• Prepare for surgical cases and anticipate needs of the team.
• Maintain aseptic technique and a safe patient environment.
• Document perioperative care and dispositions.
• Engage in orientation and training of new staff.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.
