Shields Health in Natick, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse – OR to provide general nursing care and lead perioperative activities in collaboration with physicians and the surgical team. This part-time position supports patient care across ages, cultures, and backgrounds, maintaining safety and efficiency in the operating room.

Formación

• Completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for RN licensure.
• Minimum of one year experience in Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, or OR nursing.
• Current Massachusetts RN license, BLS and ACLS within one year of hire (PALS preferred or obtained within 6 months).

Responsabilidades

• Promotes an organizational culture that supports high standards of patient care and teamwork.
• Delivers peri-operative nursing care using the nursing process and communicates with the care team.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and quality of care through evidence-based protocols and infection control practices.
• Assists with OR setup, equipment readiness, and supply stocking.
• Documents patient care accurately and communicates plan of care to the care team.
