Qualifications

• Two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of one year in Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, or OR nursing.
• Current Massachusetts nursing license in good standing.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers; ACLS within one year of hire; PALS preferred or obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive professional nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Lead and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary caregivers.
• Perform peri-operative assessments and nursing interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate plans of care to all caregivers.
• Assist with OR setup, sterilization, and equipment readiness; support staff as needed.
