Qualifications

• Completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Minimum of one year in Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, or OR nursing.
• Massachusetts nursing license in good standing.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required; ACLS within one year of hire.
• PALS certification preferred or obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care and leadership while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary caregivers.
• Coordinate, delegate, and evaluate comprehensive professional nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Promote a positive peri-operative experience and maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document care accurately and communicate plans to the care team; participate in staff meetings and training.
• Assist with OR setup, equipment readiness, and supply management to ensure efficient patient flow.
