Olympia Fields Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Staff RN for the perioperative setting. The role reports to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services, coordinating care with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year in perioperative care. BSN preferred; CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and current.
• ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and current.
• PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and current.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification (AORN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services.
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in perioperative setting using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist; direct OR staff.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing; ensure unit policies are followed.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
• Act as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
