Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a qualified PACU Registered Nurse to manage the immediate post-anesthesia care. This role reports to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services and requires thorough assessment, planning, and coordination with surgeons and anesthesiologists.

The position is part-time days with a sign-on bonus of 5,000. Candidates must hold an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within hire, and have PACU/critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Critical Care or PACU experience or minimum of one year on the job training.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilités

• The PACU RN delivers patient care through the nursing process in the PACU.
• Coordinates post-operative care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and unit meetings.
