Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an approved school of nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree BSN (Preferred)
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience (Required)
• 1 year Pediatric OR experience preferred (Preferred)
• DC RN license or RN license in DC/MD/VA depending on location (Required)
• BLS for healthcare provider (Required)
• CNOR (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with the healthcare team to assess and implement intraoperative patient care plans.
• Prepare the operating room, assemble equipment, and ensure functionality of supplies and implants.
• Deliver perioperative patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process.
• Document and communicate observations clearly to the team.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and unit governance.
