Job summary

Qualifications

• One year recent full time inpatient Operating Room (OR) RN clinical experience.
• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California.
• Active American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery.
• Proficiency in circulating duties.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations.
• Excellent verbal and written skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure.
• Basic computer keyboard skills and general PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care using the nursing process.
• Function on interdisciplinary nursing teams and perform established procedures.
• Care for patients with complex needs with supervision.
• Maintain knowledge and abilities per Nurse Practice Act and UCSF policies.
• Communicate clearly and stay organized under pressure.
