Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an approved program.
• RN license in DC, MD or VA (location dependent).
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience.
• BSN preferred; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a surgical setting following standards and policies.
• Monitor patient and operative environment to maintain safety and optimize outcomes.
• Support nurses and healthcare team through the perioperative process.
• Coordinate with team to ensure supplies, equipment, and implants are available.
• Document in the EMR and participate in quality improvement activities.
