Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center Austin is seeking an experienced OR Circulating Registered Nurse to monitor procedures and coordinate care in the operating room. You will support physicians, scrub nurses, and OR staff to maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety during surgery.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN licensure, BLS (ACLS and PALS preferred). Two years perioperative nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure to practice in the State of Texas; BLS required; ACLS required and PALS preferred.
• Two years' perioperative nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for surgical procedures and operating room prep.
• Works with scrub nurses and surgeon to maintain sterile field.
• Assesses patient condition before and during surgery.
• Develops care plans with physicians and anesthesiologists.
• Keeps patient safety and sterile technique as priority.
• Maintains documentation throughout procedures.
• Dispenses supplies and medications as needed.
