The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN), OR Circulator, to support preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative activities in the Dell Medical School perioperative area.

Requires ADN and TX RN license with at least 2 years in a clinical setting; BSN and CNOR preferred. This non-exempt, full-time role offers diverse surgical exposure and patient advocacy throughout the perioperative period.

Formación

• ADN required for consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years in a clinical perioperative setting preferred.
• Current Texas RN license required.

Responsabilidades

• Preoperative preparation of the OR with equipment and supplies.
• Assist intraoperatively to maintain a sterile field and aid the surgeon.
• Document all aspects of the procedure in the patient chart.
• Provide patient advocacy and post-anesthesia handoff education.
