Job summary

Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, CO is seeking a dynamic PAT/Pre Admission Testing and PACU Supervisor to lead patient care across PAT, preoperative and PACU. You will supervise daily operations, mentor nursing staff, coordinate assessments, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, Colorado license, OR experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS within six months, and strong leadership with a commitment to patient safety and teamwork in a fast-paced perioperative

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Colorado nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS current within 6 months of hire.
• At least 2 years perioperative nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Preop and PACU departments, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal resource utilization.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on high-quality care.
• Oversee patient assessments including vital signs and documentation to ensure accurate and timely care.
• Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for procedures.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Provide care to patients and support staff through the perioperative process.
