Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Manager to lead the PreOp and PACU teams in an ambulatory surgery center. The role ensures safe, efficient perioperative care from admission to discharge and alignment with CMS and accreditation standards.

You will oversee staffing, training, and clinical oversight, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, drive throughput and quality initiatives, and maintain documentation and compliance across the perioperative continuum.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active practice
• PALS and BLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of CMS conditions for coverage and AAAHC standards

Responsibilities

• Lead PreOp and PACU nursing staff including scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching and training
• Ensure staffing levels meet patient volume and acuity
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to optimize throughput and discharge efficiency
• Monitor outcomes, quality metrics, and compliance with safety standards and audits
