Job summary

SCA Health, based in California, seeks a Nurse Manager to oversee the Nursing Department from admission to discharge, ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination across pathways. You will lead a team, implement care plans, and drive patient outcomes in a dynamic hospital setting.

The role requires current California RN licensure, leadership experience, and BLS certification; CNOR preferred. BSN or higher in nursing/management is expected. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure in the State of California.
• Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and/or BSN, Master's degree in Nursing/Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of the patient's pathway to achieve identified outcomes.
• Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients within the nursing department.
• Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based upon age-specific needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position.
• Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on assigned shift.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

CNOR certification preferred
