Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee the Nursing Department, coordinating patient care from admission to discharge and leading a team of nurses to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires current RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and a BSN with management experience. CNOR is preferred; university or hospital experience is valued, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Licensure in the State.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CNOR preferred.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN/MSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of the patient pathway to achieve outcomes.
• Assumes a leadership role in providing quality nursing care for patients within the nursing department.
• Demonstrates competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals across age-specific needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for the position.
• Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on the assigned shift; performs other duties as assigned.
