Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an OR Registered Nurse Specialty Coordinator to provide direct and indirect patient care in the surgical unit, applying nursing knowledge and the nursing process to ensure high-quality outcomes. Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a two-year Associate Degree.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred; CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care for surgical patients.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with surgeons, nurses and other care providers.
• Maintain accurate records, manage supplies and assist with scheduling and budgeting.
• Lead staff education, in-service training and unit education initiatives.
