Mercy is seeking a perioperative RN to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the operating room. You will document findings, oversee unit staff, manage supplies, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, high‑quality care aligned with Mercy policies.

The role requires RN licensure in the practice state, graduation from an accredited nursing school, and CPR/ACLS certification. Prior OR or medical‑surgical experience is preferred, with leadership skills a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; successful completion of medication administration competency.
• RN licensure in the state where practice is performed.
• CPR certification; ACLS or scheduled in next available class.
• Preferred: 1 year med-surgical or OR experience.
• Leadership skills are desirable.

Aufgaben

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care per plan of care and policies.
• Communicate findings and document in the patient's medical record.
• Oversee care by ancillary and other professional personnel.
• Manage supplies and equipment within the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdepartmental staff for perioperative care.
• Participate in marketing of operating room services to the medical staff.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and culturally sensitive nursing care.
