Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for Pre-Operative and PACU to lead education initiatives, develop curricula, and mentor nursing teams.

The role focuses on evidence-based practice, staff competency, and regulatory compliance across perioperative services. You will design, deliver, and evaluate programs, onboard new staff, and collaborate with nursing leadership to drive quality outcomes and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Pre-Operative, PACU, Perioperative Services, Ambulatory Surgery, Critical Care, Emergency Department, or Surgical Services.
• 1-2 years of clinical education experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of nursing leadership, charge nurse, preceptor, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation, education, and competency programs for Pre-Op and PACU.
• Create curricula, training materials, simulations, and learning experiences aligned with standards.
• Facilitate education sessions, workshops, and continuing education.
• Assess and validate clinical competencies for safe patient care.
• Mentor new staff, students, and preceptors.
• Track learning records and ensure regulatory compliance.
