Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a perioperative nursing education specialist to lead development and delivery of education for Pre-Op, PACU and OR staff. You will help implement a robust preceptor program, coordinate education initiatives, and support EMR-related training and center-wide IT updates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Current state licensure to practice.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Successful completion of BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate perioperative education for Pre-Op, PACU and OR staff, including developing and maintaining preceptor programs with input from Nursing leadership.
• Develop and implement standard procedures for Total Joint Program activities and ensure alignment with surgeon and staff.
• Oversee EMR training materials and coordinate center-wide IT initiatives and content updates.
• Assist in facility logs management and ensure safe patient care across perioperative units.
