Job summary

Providence Health & Services seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the surgical team at Swedish Medical Center and affiliated campuses. You will assemble instruments, equipment and supplies, assist the surgeon and RN, and adhere to perioperative policies to ensure patient safety.

The role includes a $10,000 hiring bonus and a comprehensive benefits package from day one. Required: surgical technician program certificate, Washington registration, BLS, 5 years OR experience, and broad experience

Qualifications

• Certificate/education for surgical technician program or equivalent training.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years current operating room experience.
• Experience in multiple surgical areas and with computers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate surgical procedures by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Work as part of the surgical team under RN supervision to ensure patient care and safety.
