Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Surgical Technologist to facilitate surgical procedures by assembling instrumentation and supplies. You will join a dedicated surgical team under RN supervision to assist surgeons and anesthesiologists in patient care on the First Hill/Seattle campuses.

Minimum 5 years OR experience, Washington registration, and AHA BLS certification are required. Base pay range is detailed below with comprehensive Providence benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate or documentation of equivalent training as surgical technician.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years of current operating room experience.
• Experience in multiple surgical areas per competency checklist.
• Experience using computers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the surgical procedure by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Work as part of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon and anesthesiologist to provide patient care.

Education

Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training

Washington Surgical Technologist Registration

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

5 years current operating room experience
