Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist the surgical team by assembling instruments and supplies for procedures. You will work under supervision to ensure patient care aligns with our mission and standards.

Candidates should have OR experience, WA registration, and BLS certification. The role supports multiple OR locations and a comprehensive benefits package starts on day one.

Qualifications

• 5 years current operating room experience.
• Experience in multiple surgical areas (General, MIS, Vascular, GU, GYN, Gastro, Plastics, ENT, Eye, MaxFac, Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Peds, Thoracic and Transplant) as outlined in the skills/competency checklist.
• Certificate or equivalent training in surgical technology and WA registration upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the surgical procedure by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Work as a member of the surgical team under supervision of a registered nurse, surgeon, and anesthesiologist.
• Adhere to Swedish Medical Center and Perioperative Services policies and procedures.
