Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center at First Hill in Seattle, WA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to facilitate procedures by assembling instrumentation, equipment and supplies as part of the operating room team under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.

The Surgical Technologist (ST) is responsible for facilitating the surgical procedure through the assembly of instrumentation, equipment and supplies. The Surgical Technologist work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.

Required Qualification:

• Coursework/Training: Certificate of completion of a surgical technician vocational program or documentation of equivalent training.


• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire

Preferred Qualification:

• 6 months of Experience in a hospital operating room.
