Job summary

Atlas-Healthcare-Partners-LLC in Tucson, AZ seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for perioperative care. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care per policy and nursing standards, directing care for patients across the perioperative spectrum.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality in a fast-paced operating room. Strong OR procedures experience and patient advocacy are required, with BLS and ACLS; PALS within 90 days if pediatrics are involved.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification required within 90 days if ASC pediatrics
• Minimum one-year OR/perioperative nursing experience (FT/PT)
• Enrollment in PeriOp101 may be acceptable with completion within 4 months

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual and educational domains.
• Formulate and revise care plans including discharge planning.
• Implement care plans with coordination and supervision of the care team.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust care and teaching accordingly.
• Document findings in patient records in a timely, accurate manner.
• Contribute to quality improvement and department leadership.
• Provide excellent service and patient-focused care daily.
