Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license valid in state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification within 90 days if assigned ASC pediatrics.
• Experience in OR or perioperative settings preferred and/or approved by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social and educational domains.
• Formulate and update a plan of care with discharge planning.
• Implement and coordinate care, delegating tasks to the care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise plans as needed.
• Document care in patient records accurately and timely.
• Promote evidence-based practice and mentor staff.
